This past summer, we lived in midi dresses! They are the perfect length for a professional setting while still allowing us to beat the heat in Dallas and Chicago. We tried the whole jeans and slacks thing at the beginning of the summer, but after a few scorching days walking to the train in hot jeans, we both realized we needed an airy alternative. We bought a few of these dresses to recycle through every week and our evening commutes were immediately 1000x better.
Now coming into the fall/winter season, we can still wear our midi dresses with a few added layers. They are great with boots, an oversized cardigan, or a blazer. You don't always have to put your summer pieces into storage so quickly, just find a different way to rock the pieces you love!
